  • Chloe Johnson - Owner/Director

A native to Colorado, Chloe began her love of movement at the age of 3. In middle school, she decided to further her exploration of movement and performed in a local studio’s own rendition of A Christmas Carol. Chloe was infatuated with the beauty and athleticism that dance demands. Since then, Chloe has been dancing non-stop.

Chloe received her early training from various dance studios in Colorado Springs, CO. A versatile dancer, she gained experience in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and several others. She has relentlessly stepped out of her own boundaries, curious to explore the possibilities of movement.

During her dance education and professional career, she has taught and choreographed for students ranging from 3 year olds to adults. Chloe also brought her passion for dance into the community, where she directed and produced a benefit event for KPC Kids’ Place, Colorado’s only crisis and respite care center for kids at risk for abuse and neglect. She continues to immerse herself in the local community through events such as the Fraternal Order Of Police Lodge #3 Benevolent Fund’s annual Dancing with A First Responder and any other opportunity she can possibly be involved in.

Chloe received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Colorado State University where she gained an extensive education in dance technique, choreography, performance, and pedagogy. Chloe is living her dream through teaching and inspiring dancers to fearlessly push their limits to reach their own potential and beyond.

  • Beth Potter - Teacher

Beth's dance experience began in Parker, Colorado, where she was inspired by her older sister. It didn’t take much convincing for her to fall in love with dance at an early age. Beth took a leap of passion and started with recreational classes at the age of five. Her devotion for dance blossomed to obtain experience on a competitive dance team. Throughout middle and high school, Beth pushed herself to adventure in various dance styles, ultimately earning a spot on her high school's poms team for a year. One dance style in particular she could find passion in was ballet. You would always find her dancing in The Nutcracker at her studio during christmas time, other ballet classics, or even just dancing around her parents house. These dance experiences elevated her love for the artistry of dance and inspired a desire to share her passion with other young dancers.

Following her past involvement with dance, Beth returned to the studio she grew up in, to then take on the role of a dance instructor. Teaching kids and teens not only allowed her to grow her knowledge but also enriched her own understanding of dance. Beth’s journey continued at Colorado State University, where she is currently a member of the CSU Golden Poms.

Beth is inspired to share the joy, creativity, and challenges that dance brings. She believes dance is a beautiful form of expression that impacts great power in uniting people. Through all her dance experiences, Beth aims to motivate dancers to reach for their dreams, embrace their unique styles, and find their confidence through dance.

  • Norah Haarstad - Teacher

Norah grew up dancing in the suburbs of Chicago starting at the age of two. She danced competitively for ten years and trained in various styles of contemporary, jazz, lyrical, ballet, musical theatre and hip hop. While dancing at her private studio, Norah was also a member of her high school’s varsity dance team for all four years. Her junior year, in 2018, they won the Illinois IHSA 3A State Championship title. Norah started teaching dance at the age of fifteen and assisting her parents’ tumbling classes, sharing and learning from their collegiate gymnastics knowledge. Through all this, she found a passion for helping students build on skills and hone their technique in a meaningful, supportive environment.

Due to an autoimmune diagnosis affecting her joints, Norah wasn’t able to pursue her dream of dancing in college. However, her condition served to expand her appreciation for dance in new ways—particularly those regarding strength, stability, mobility and healing. Norah continued to teach dance and tumbling, enjoying how the worlds have integrated together. She is dedicated to creating a positive classroom that builds internal confidence as well as challenges students to reach their full potential. Norah graduated from Colorado State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in health professions.

After repeatedly climbing to the top shelf of a couple of shoe stores Jordan’s parents threw him into gymnastics. He consistently trained for the next 19 years, concluding his career in 2023. During that time Jordan had the privilege to compete around the country at places like Disney World, the Air Force Academy, & the Olympic Training Center. After years of unsuccessful attempts, he was finally able to qualify for the 2019 JO Nationals in Rio, Nevada. In the downtime between graduating & moving to college, Jordan was lucky enough to train for a couple of weeks in the UK. After that, he competed for the ASU men's team for the last four years of his gymnastics career.

Jordan’s coaching experience started in 2015 to instill his love of the sport in the next generation of athletes. Since then, he’s coached kids ages 5-15 dealing with the unique dilemmas every class has presented to the best of his ability. Jordan looks forward to bringing the knowledge he has gained from his gymnastics background to UDS.
